@Zykzi Itch is a separate platform where you’ll find plenty of cheap and also free plugins, tools and extensions for Aseprite. I can DM you a list of ones I use if you’re interested.

@Zykzi There’s an option you can enable when exporting specifically for Twitter. Could be related to your issue, though requires some experimenting: aseprite.org/docs/exporting/

if the animation is choppy on your end i have no idea why twitter has done this. if you do know why i would love your input 💖

@Zykzi Gratz on picking up Aseprite! Might not solve your issue with the tool itself, but you can find additional dithering patterns on itch.io for cheap. Got one that had like 100+ different patterns.

previous version using only sai + gimp. an absolute nightmare workflow. wish i bought aseprite sooner. however i think i'll still paint the bulk of things in sai. i thought aseprite would have better dithering tools. i recognise they are fine but i find them unintuitive
