@shan0133 Whyt people, particularly liberals, don't recognize racism in savior mentalities, microassaults, microinvalidations, microinsults, & lies in ally industrial complex among uninterrogated racist norms. If a whyt person is shocked = ignorant to foundational systemic racism & biases.

After reading to the 5th graders at Sanborn School, two girls waited to speak to me. One girl was excited to tell me she was Vietnamese-American, too. They had never seen someone like themselves in this leadership position before, but they can see it now. #RepresentationMatters
