Some peeps say that this series can feel a bit dry but I just think it because that the manga dont focus on bombastic set pieces and instead go for a more rounded approach

@scratchthatout Its just smart writing all around, everything happened within the logic set up before hand and the result is the manga has an excellent balance feel
The MC also one of those very rare strategist type character that actually have to be clever and outsmart the situations he facing

okay, with immense willpower i am forcing myself to stop reading at chapter 20, but needless to say, this is very compelling and grest storytelling. i love that the story is so confident that it doesn't rely on its fights but balances excellently. great stuff.

@scratchthatout The taping of the dog snout is one of the common ways animal abusers do to their dog (dont look it up unless ya want to get ya blood boil) Cerbie behavior here also fit with how an abused dog would often act, aggressive and snappy. So I say ya pretty dead on the money there

@scratchthatout It got potential, with a bit more focus and planning and you could make the series work. It just feel like the mangaka not confident enough in the core idea so a lot more noises get added in instead.

I actually think this isn't FUNDAMENTALLY a flawed idea to explore, but the route here was so messed up and nine ways crossed over that it just lacks any real impact, but I do like the kernel of heart to it. Very tried and a true, but could have maybe worked with a better story.
