On 4–5 September 2025, UNU-IIGH had the privilege of hosting its International Advisory Board members and United Nations University Rector, Professor Tshilidzi Marwala (@tmarwala), for the annual Board Meeting held at our headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Over two days of strategic and forward-looking dialogue, the Board reviewed the Institute’s progress across its core work around Gender Equality & Intersectionality, Digital Heath Security and Governance, Climate Justice & Health, and Power & Accountability. Discussions focused on UNU-IIGH’s unique role in advancing evidence-based policy, equity-driven approaches to address global health challenges.
