Watched a 70s movie last week and was appalled to see Warren Beatty's character go to the airport, walk directly on to the tarmac, enter the plane, find a seat and then pay for his plane ticket in cash. Like omg did it really use to be that easy? 😭

@eli_thomas17 Will single out Rebecca given how it is often unfairly seen as a lesser work in Hitchcock’s oeuvre. It has aged like fine wine, plus the CC packs a serious punch with that chock-full of extras 2 disc treatment (inc. screen tests with Vivien Leigh!) and absolutely stellar artwork.

My lovely Uber driver just explained how he gets waves of ideas for poems while driving, and writes the poems down in-between rides. He had just composed one while we drove, and couldn't wait to write it down, and then copy it out carefully at home! He's an Eritrean refugee, 16 years in the United States, and explained to me how much he loves the US, and how he gives thanks every day that he and his loved ones aren't dead in a war
