Checked out a podcast with Dhravya Shah from Supermemory about building something because you genuinely need it—not just to sell it. That really resonated with me. I've always built things I personally needed. For example, I have chronic renal disease, and I have hundreds of health parameters to keep track of over time. So I built a simple app that visualizes them as graphs. The wesbite is like it's from 20 years ago—nothing fancy—but I needed it, so I built it. That's it.

Just got a rejection from a major tech company in the UAE, and honestly, it stings. It was a DSA round—I solved both problems completely and left feeling like it was a solid 9/10 interview. After days of intense preparation, it's incredibly disappointing to get a "no". Going forward, I'm just going to say no to DSA rounds, It makes zero sense to test a engineer with 6 years of experience on arbitrary puzzles instead of scalable architecture and system design.
