There are no immediate tropical threats to Florida. Yes, there is a tropical wave that bears watching, but that's nothing new for September. Most of the long range models do not show a significant Florida threat. Maybe a week from now, that could change. Until then, we will simply take it one day at a time. Now, here is the latest on what should be "Gabrielle" in the Atlantic. There is a definite threat to the Lesser Antilles towards the latter part of next week. Beyond that, there continues to be very little model agreement. Models show a large spread, which makes sense, because we are talking 7 to 10 days in the future. So, enjoy the weekend, and as always, I will keep you posted.
