@DaggerDock I'm still not quite used to the Mets actually signing big name guys instead of shopping in the clearance aisle... They've come a long way from their big acquisition being Daniel Vogelbach
As a MLB.tv subscriber who also has to pay @Sportsnet in order to watch the Mets playoffs, is it too much to ask that they come back from commercial break at the start of the inning once in a while? I've missed an AB per inning! Incompetent!
If you told me back in March that on the final day of the season the Mets would have Megill starting and the 2/3/4 hitters are Iglesias/Vientos/Nimmo I would have guaranteed they'd lost 100 games. What a roller coaster game and season #LFGM
Crazy idea for Fox sports... instead of doing a series of interviews that span 9 innings, what if you hired competent broadcasters and let them call the game/ discuss what is happening? Put out a podcast of Utley's European Adventures if you love him so much #Mets#LondonSeries
There's a non zero chance that 2nd qtr safety by the Jets D initiated a freaky Friday scenario where Zach Wilson took all of Patrick Mahomes' powers... #Jets
ESPN broadcast openly pondering whether Edwin Diaz might pitch 4 innings tonight is a good reminder that they are the worst and don't know anything about baseball #LFGM
@Robbie_gr@MLBTV I have MLBtv for watching baseball, and DAZN for watching football. I don't have cable because I don't watch anything else, and until now, have never had an issue watching (non-Jays) MLB playoff games with my subscription.
As a MLBtv subscriber since 2013 (and fan of a non-local team), how can @MLBTV justify blacking out playoff games in Canada after never doing this in the past? Do you not want fans to watch these games, even after paying for your service for that exact purpose?
For a team that couldn't hit all weekend, back to back to back HRs when they don't really matter is tremendously frustrating. Maybe it'll give them confidence for the wild card series. #LFGM
@KTeiche11@MLBTV@peacockTV@MLBFanSupport You should have watched the Futures game instead and enjoyed a look at the young talent who are the future of baseball... Oh wait, it was also aired on Peacock, and happened on a Saturday night up against nationally televised MLB games... Guess we have to watch Property Brothers.
@waitbutwhy I also vividly remember being devastated to learn that information, because I just found out via this tweet after years of believing somewhere under those clouds was a giant trampoline.
My annual “I think I’m going to stop being a sports fan” existential crisis. Every year there’s a bigger and bigger I actually follow through with it. At age 26 it was a 0% chance. At 36 we are up to like 24% chance
Only the #Mets can hit back to back to back HRs in the 9th inning to make an ugly 5-0 loss seem more reasonable at 5-3. Leaving 2 on base and swinging through 6 straight hittable fastballs was just icing on the cake
I used to consider a 341ml bottle as 'a beer', and a tall can was 1.33 beers. Now tall boys are just 'a beer', 355ml cans are .75 beers, and pouring 2 tall boys in a 1L mug still feels like 'a beer'. #beermath
