@TobaahMaii FFXIV is the game I absolutely love and enjoy. And I think I have a different appreciation for it these days.

@TobaahMaii lol i get that. i lost my pride and world first mentality a few expansions ago and take this game as a chill relaxing game i enjoy now. i do hardcore rpg modpacks in minecraft or other challenges in other games... but i get that. I was doing world first stuff since Everquest

This must happen to someone else... you're doing your relic quest and then suddenly you feel like this isn't FFXIV anymore...

@TobaahMaii Something I've always told people the last few years is if it's not fun, don't do it or you'll burn yourself out and feel resentful. I had to take a break after Island Sanctuary, I did not enjoy it at all but I did it because I was being a completionist against my judgement.

@TobaahMaii Lol I have a tradition since ARR... 2-3 per patch and I take it slow and easy and enjoy the ride depending on the expansion. Always PLD relic and then the main job/s I played in that expansion.

@Smuggiess It was also really dividing those that watched me, there was the time everyone thought it was great then it was in to hate on it... and I've always just enjoyed it.

There have been several people asking me why I don't stream FFXIV after my excitement about the new expansion and upcoming changes. It's simply because the game feels very personal to me. I struggle showing me deeper and special interests, because I get irrationally sad when others aren't as excited as me. And I have tried streaming FFXIV before! So this is based on experience that happened during my streams as well. I wish I could feel comfortable sharing these parts, but reality has shown it's not that easy for me. Anytime I try to be more vulnerable about any special interests there will always be some people that will make me sad about it. So, idk

@neffnaps couldn't find namazu scary room but i remember finding this house with all the puppers in the basement lol.

This is why I started taking a more chill approach to the game.

As someone up till Shadowbringers did every weekly/raid/etc... Taking this slower approach to the game every few years has been nice. Sorry if you loved WoL Island Adventures but that made me hate logging into the game as I brain forced me to 100% it.

I haven't capped tomestone in a year... and I'm already capped... it's not even been 24 hours!
