No I can't ignore it. I can no longer attend my gym because they allow men into the changing room that has a sign saying women on the door. I won't take the risk and I can't afford the cost of going to court. There are many, many women affected by this on a daily basis but the real victims are the women who no longer have access to rape crisis, women's refuges or end up banged up in jail with some of the worst men alive.

@JohnDOh1001 @CheekyWeeBism @mara_yamauchi It would, it doesn't mean I agree with it though. Why shouldn't women be able to celebrate cracking results that they're proud of. People enjoy the stats and finishing positions. It's a simple expectation that female results are female only as in the majority of sports.

@JohnDOh1001 @CheekyWeeBism @mara_yamauchi My rebuttal is that the categories do exist, that blokes went ballistic when the stats were removed, so removal of categories will go down like a lead balloon! If categories are there, they should mean exactly what they say they are. Men are never female.

@JohnDOh1001 @CheekyWeeBism @mara_yamauchi But the categories are there. Assuming that you're male, this obviously has no impact on you at all. Telling women to "get a life" because they're campaigning about men in their female category is a bit rich isn't it.

I see an attempt at a pile on has been made overnight by TRA’s, so I’m going to post this again. The accounts involved have proven the point I have made before that we are dealing with a deeply misogynistic movement that despises women and girls. I stand by every word I said.

A year ago this month, the Supreme Court made it clear that a woman is defined by biological sex. However, parkrun continues to defy their ruling and allow men to cheat in the female category. It’s time you stopped breaking the law parkrun and make the female category XX only!
