The "two cakes" comic is so funny because if you spend more than 5 minutes in any fandom you can see the idea of two cakes existing simultaneously is actually like unbearable psychological torture for people.

@ProfSegaFace @itatzki @DillR56735 @Raikaru00 @SariegoAlonso @DUSKdev From what i understand, Requiem does imply ties to the remake series, meaning that going forward the games will probably narratively fall in line with those games, making them part of the mainline narrative, but thats not the same as replacing or delisting software.
