Ready for a fun fact about the “Yamato “music video shoot? ⚓🌊 Before we flew out to Serbia, we were told: “Perfect weather, ideal conditions”. You know, the kind of forecast you want when half your shoot involves being in water. We land, and it’s 6°C. Freezing. The kind of cold that makes you question your life choices! From that point on, it was a full-day routine of: get soaked, try to warm up (fail), get blasted with ice-cold water, repeat. At several points we were fully submerged, wondering whose brilliant idea this was (spoiler: ours). Next time we’re double-checking the weather forecast. 😅 Watched our music video yet? When we rescheduled our show in Vancouver, it collided with another great show - HammerFall, Evergrey and Elvenking. We - and a lot of you - were aware of this fact but we were unable to find a good solution and were devastated. In the last few days, an opportunity arose and we were able to move our show, allowing you to experience two nights of Swedish heavy metal. And what better way for us to spend our day off in Vancouver than to stand in the crowd with you guys and watch our brothers on the stage! Our show at the PNE Forum has been moved from Wednesday, October 7 to Thursday, October 8. On this day in 44 BC, Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of Roman senators during a meeting of the Senate on the Ides of March. They claimed they were acting to protect the Roman Republic and prevent Caesar from becoming a tyrant. Instead of restoring stability, his death plunged Rome into a series of civil wars that led to the transformation of the Republic into the Roman Empire.
