@JoyNewsOnTV I don’t understand why you are banning minors? How are minors driving these without licenses? Is it not already illegal?

@kbd_warrior_su Rail transport is expensive, but very much needed. As to why even the existing lines that the British left for us has been discontinued, I wonder.

Senegal has 22 trains running. Senegal gained independence in 1960 = 66 years Ghana, the first African country to gain independence, 1957 = 69 years. But some party retard will tell you rail transport is expensive and not needed. You people should continue.

There’s a 14 million water 4 year project that was launched last year December funded by the government of Denmark in partnership with UNICEF. In 2018 projects were launched to solve the water crisis in communities in the north but last year The fourth estate revealed..1/3
we love ghana@weloveghana042

A foreigner in Northern Ghana was shocked after seeing a young girl, Rahma, drinking dirty water while waiting for her mother. The visitor said this reflects the reality for many communities in the region, where people still depend on unsafe water for daily life.

What I observed from this post: 1. NDC minister causes financial loss to the state. 2. NPP resumes power, and for 8 years, didn't touch the project when citizens have been crying about the high cost of rent in this country. The NPP government didn't see any need to continue the project and ease its citizens of some rent stress and thought it is more profitable to leave a 60% to 70% completed project stranded to rot. 3. NPP resumes power and for 8 years couldn't prosecute the said person for causing financial loss to the state. 4. NDC also resumes power and clears the said person of all charges leveled against him. 5. Now the NPP is complaining that its government couldn't use 8 years to prosecute a corrupt person who has caused great financial loss to the country and the NDC has come to free the said person. Ladies and gentlemen, that's NPP/NDC for you. ORAL won't work for this same reasons. They are seriously scratching their backs and we are here fighting for them. NPP/NDC don't care about us; they care about enriching themselves at the peril of a dying nation. Until we come together as a collective voice and demand serious accountability from our leaders and vote both parties out, they will never respect us.

In 2012, the government of Ghana took $200 million loan to construct 5,000 housing units. Just about 1,500 units were partially completed. Till date, the project isn’t completed The then sector Minister, Hon. Collins Dauda was standing trial for willfully causing financial loss to the State. But the case got dropped when the NDC took office in 2025. In the end, the taxpayers’ money has gone to waste

Meanwhile in Ghana, the Saglemi Housing Project is a monument to how to spend money and achieve absolutely nothing. At this point, the Saglemi Housing Project should be added to our tourist sites as come and see how to waste public funds in peace. We’re not angry enough mtcheew

@prise_got_ya @Bossy___ The implication is that, we all know we are not at the top level, but sometimes the way some people belittle Ghana, I can only imagine they really know what Ghana has. Almost every 5 to 10 years Ghana brings out a new housing project for citizens.

@prise_got_ya @Bossy___ I’m just saying we’ve had it since then, affordable housing units were sold in 2022 as well, Saglemi still an ongoing project. So you can’t say Ghana doesn’t have this at all. Even single units were developed in Duah Kwanta close to Sunyani recently. It’s both history and present

Saglemi is operational now?
scribblemerdi@scribblemerdi

@WhillEyram We have Saglemi now, and a couple of other units in Kumasi, but I understand there are pricing issues. I do recall they recently opened up for for sale in Kumasi, maybe around 2022 or 2023. Ive forgotten the name of the estate. But it looks well planned as well.

@WhillEyram It’s still there with Ghanaians living in it. So it’s not like we don’t have that idea or mentality at all. It’s just that what has been done is very little as compared to our growing population
