@GillianSurgey I really like MMC! We had it last week so I’ll save this for later thank you

@scriptwren #BritishHeartFoundation version of #MarryMeChicken is very quick, easy & tasty plus it’s a healthier version. Easy to adjust for more people. I make this quite often. Personally I prefer to call this recipe Chicken with sun-dried tomato sauce. 😘

@scriptwren Nigella’s chicken with orzo…… could probably pop it in at 6 and it would be ready at 8:30pm….. might need to cook it at a lower temp…… nigella.com/recipes/chicke…

@scriptwren A takeaway? Fish, chips and mushy peas -delicious with a bottle of Chablis of course.
English

@scriptwren Pasta bake? Boil some pasta and fry up some onion, garlic, chilli if you like it and minced beef if you eat meat. Add a tin of tomatoes and simmer. Stir in some chopped mozzarella and put it all into an ovenproof dish. More cheese and Parmesan on top and bake for about 15 mins.

David McKenna was truly incredible in Lord of the Flies as Piggy. I loved his performance so much. I’m looking forward to seeing him in The Magician’s Nephew later this year…#davidmckenna #lordoftheflies #digorykirke

@Lookinupatstars Yes true. I remember being scared of glandular fever when I was a teen at that was the one publicised back then- and ended up with ME at 16. But at least that was not potentially fatal.
English

@scriptwren This outbreak is *extraordinary* no one saw it coming. You just can’t protect children against every possible eventuality, it’s not feasible. My friend’s son caught glandular fever during Freshers Week: I’d never heard of it! All you can do is ensure their shots are up to date 🫤
English

@scriptwren I think that’s Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut for dinner, with a sliced banana if you can find a little bit of extra energy. Relax, regroup, make a nice dinner tomorrow. Xx
English

@Lookinupatstars It is awful. I had always planned to vax my lot before uni, as friends had done it for theirs. Hence the booking, which I had annoyingly been meaning to do for a few weeks!
English

@scriptwren I think the govt sequestered private supplies. I also *think* this outbreak has been contained (only those at the club seem to have contracted it). The govt now has to vaccinate all students; imagine if this happened again?

@DrAnakwenze @upshine3 Chelsea and Ken not totally representative of upper class though. Generational wealth is country wide and often based in countryside with a place in London too. They tend to keep choosing the same names. But the ones you cited have had UC cachet removed by middle class take up
English

You’re right! Once a name hits the Top 10, the Chelsea and Kensington set usually drops it like a hot potato. But that’s the game! The upper class defines the trend, the middle class buys it, and then the upper class moves on to something even more obscure (like Algernon or Digby). The pedigree' isn’t in the name itself, but in being the one who used it before it was acquired.
English

@EadieM3adie @ISEERED07 If you work out who she is when she pops back up, do let me know. Sounds like blocking might be in order
English

@EadieM3adie @ISEERED07 I have noticed her behaviour before but no, I don’t remember interacting with her personally
English

@DrAnakwenze @upshine3 Nothing to do with uniqueness. But those names have absolutely been acquired by the middle class and are no longer seen as representative of upper. class. Names- just like language- change in their symbolism.
English

@scriptwren @upshine3 Popularity doesn't erase pedigree. A name like Arthur or Archibald carries a generational weight that a trendy modern name doesn't. They aren't just names; they're family history. The upper class isn't about being unique; it's about being established.
