@TRFyeomanfarmer The word on the street is, it’s coming out in August.

Any word on the supposed $1 Bil the USDA was going to give specialty crop growers (out of the $12 Bil they gave to commodity growers in February) I applied back in March and haven't heard anything more about it.

This may be my last 5:30 am wake up call on Christmas morning. I’m not sure how to feel about that. I keep telling my wife that I’m glad the boys are growing up but secretly inside I’m realizing that someday soon they will be on their own. I will enjoy every minute I have left.

@shaday77 Democrats have been told to not give in until at least the end of October when by then everyone will have received notification of how much their health insurance premiums have increased. They hope the fallout will force the Republicans to vote to keep the healthcare credits

I got home tonight and thought maybe I should catch up on the government shutdown. I turn on the news (multiple stations). It was a bunch of people shouting at one another. Even I know that’s not going to get anything done. I guess I’m working at the farm again tomorrow.

When I see these kids walking around with full winter gear on in August, I be wondering should I call 911.

Grew kennebec potatoes this year because I heard they made the best fries. Did the double temp oil method. It's been a long time since I had a fries this good. Perfect texture inside and out.

These squash look great but the production is not there. Lots of flowers some fruit but very small. Any suggestions? ⁦@blackdirtpaul⁩ ⁦@TRFyeomanfarmer⁩

@TRFyeomanfarmer @blackdirtpaul I agree about the zucchini. More rotting on the vine than we’re picking. I so many flowers on my cucumbers but no cucumbers. We had someone bring out some bees on Monday so hopefully this all changes soon.

@shaday77 @blackdirtpaul I've heard of some polination issues this year. My zucchini are experiencing similar.
