Hoy Martin Green se ha dirigido al pueblo en una carta. Lo hace con el Festival en llamas, 5 países retirados, artistas que no aceptarán la preselección nacional para ir a Eurovisión, grandes estrellas del Festival posicionándose contra la participación de Israel y la mayor crisis reputacional de la historia de UER. Ahí es nada. Green no menciona en su carta ni a Gaza ni a Israel, es decir, no llama a las cosas por su nombre. Son "acontecimientos" que han pasado en Oriente medio y que le conmueven. ¿Un genocidio es un acontecimiento? ¿Nada más? Eso sí, Green os escucha a los fans. Hasta ahí su labor: escuchar. Nos dice ahora que lo pasado pues pasado está y que las reglas se van a cumplir a partir de ahora. ¿Y los incumplimientos de estos dos años por Israel? ¿Pelillos a la mar? ¿Las normas se aplican según conviene a UER por sus alianzas geopolíticas y económicas? Pero además Green nos dice que "la única manera de que el Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión siga uniendo a la gente es asegurándonos de que nos guiamos por nuestras reglas, ante todo." Ante todo, le reconozco un gran cuajo para decir esto después de que la misma noche que se votaron las nuevas reglas, Israel asegurase que había influido políticamente en las delegaciones para conseguir permanecer en Eurovisión. ¿Qué nos falta por ver?

@Josepablo_ls First of all, winners are no longer chosen by people which we hate! It's obvious that Eurosong became just one more political propaganda, you'll never choose a winner who deserves it! Also this show should be about Europe and our people. EUROsong! Since when is Israel in Europe?
