@RottnakLeang This is the best mindset shift. Treating rejections as blind spot closers instead of failures is what separates devs who ship from devs who don't. The approved version is always the better one.

Apple rejected my app more than once first time it hurt second time I just took notes each rejection closed a blind spot I couldn't see on my own the app that got approved wasn't the one I first submitted — it was better rejection isn't the wall. it's the curriculum.

All nighter 1. Lia's diet was successful. Huge gains in speed. Quality even better as the LLM has less always-on context to sift through (attched). 2. Updated to the latest Openclaw. Mega updates. Switched to their memory system for non-Lia agents (these guys ship fast). Will borrow ideas for Lia from here.

my first app, @UniTalkOfficial, is finally live. it took me 10 months to build it while finishing my last semester of engineering. definitely longer than I planned, but it was worth it. the goal was simple: learn how to build and ship an app fast enough to actually market it.

Every notification you send is a withdrawal from a limited trust account. The user who disables push is extremely difficult to win back. Most apps don't even track opt-out rates per campaign. They have no idea which messages are burning trust.

@prospercode @onelinehq @onesignal What specifically is failing? Is it image attachments, delivery reliability, or custom actions? Each has a different workaround in Expo. Also, are you using Expo's push service or going direct to APNs/FCM?

It was really difficult setting up a rich notification system with the current expo push system. 😤 Most of @onelinehq beta users complained about messages not grouping / stacking, which usually created noise in the notification panel for the app. So i switched to @onesignal ⚡

Never underestimate the power of a revamp (and shipping to #iOS). 6 years ago, I published my first-ever utility app on Android. Back then, it was a simple tool that made me a few bucks during my university days via @GoogleAdMob , @audience_ntwk, and @AppLovin. For years, it sat there gathering dust, making maybe $5–$10 a month. I’d almost forgotten about it. End of the last year, I decided to give it a second life: ✅ Did a major revamp & added key features. ✅ Leveraged @FlutterDev to ship the iOS version in just a few hours. ✅ Updated store listing and screenshots. @llsbetdigital Paprr getting rejected and your response being "let me make it better" instead of giving up is exactly the right mindset. That's how good apps get made.

Paprr, my side project, got rejected on its first App Store submission. Instead of rushing a resubmission, I decided to step back, improve the design and overall experience, and make the product more valuable. I’m using my post-holiday time to work on it slowly.

First revenue at 3 weeks is fast. The critical question now: is the revenue from new users or returning ones? If it's mostly new, your growth depends on acquisition spend forever. If returning users are paying, you have a real business. Improving day-7 retention by even 10% at this stage compounds everything.

@tomhan245 I've been in the same position. I just made my first $$$ with my app after 3 weeks of being live. This is supposed to be difficult I think :D I dont have answer for you what to do, but keep going mate. Maybe try one or two more ideas. MVPs only. Play it long term.

Running ads starting tomorrow means today is the most important day. Before you spend a dollar, make sure your day-1 retention setup is ready. The difference between a 20% and 40% day-1 retention rate means you need half the ad budget to hit the same growth targets. A simple re-engagement notification after 24h of inactivity is the highest-ROI thing you can add before ads go live.

Still waiting for Meta approvals on a webapp I'm building, so in the meantime I built an iOS app based on the stack recommended here. Will be running ads starting next week, let's see. Will say the iOS development was a lot easier than building out a webapp...

@Jorganite @Jampzey What kind of app was quoted at $50k? Curious about the complexity. Building it with Claude Code means you can iterate much faster than a dev shop would, which is a huge advantage at the TestFlight stage.

@Jampzey I’ve built an MVP for an app I was quoted 50k for, hopefully get it to the App Store and through TestFlight in the coming months. Built entirely with Claude, but it has required a lot of tokens and back and forth with a clear plan with visuals already provided

Generic push: 3-5% open rate. Personalized push: 15-25%. "Personalized" doesn't mean adding their first name. It means: different message based on what they did in your app yesterday.

Testing Lock In app - Dumbphone with a lock, love how the app is coming out, vibe coding this thing. Waitlist is open at lockinapp.info I needed this app as used to get distracted a lot, scrolling reels, shorts all day. I have to delete the apps tell my friends i will be off the grid. But now with this, I just put my phone into a dumbphone with a lock. Unique thing is I still allowed music and AI. As I am a person who loves music, and talking to AI about my problems .
