UNAIDS Congratulates Cambodia on Achieving the UNAIDS 95-95-95 Global Targets On the morning of 12 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Mr Eamonn Murphy, UNAIDS Director, Regional Support Teams for Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe and Central Asia regions, and his delegation at the Peace Palace. During the meeting, the Regional Director expressed his admiration for Cambodia’s remarkable progress and development across all sectors and highly commended the strong leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia in national development and the strengthening of the health sector. He also highly praised the Royal Government’s commitment and leadership in promoting public health, particularly the introduction and implementation of the National Social Protection Policy Framework. Furthermore, the Regional Director congratulated Cambodia on its successful achievement of the UNAIDS’ global 95-95-95 HIV targets—95% of people living with HIV know their status, 95% of those diagnosed receive antiretroviral treatment, and 95% of those on treatment achieve viral suppression (having the virus reduced to undetectable levels)—towards ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. He further highlighted that Cambodia is one of only seven countries worldwide, and the first in the Asia-Pacific region, to achieve this milestone, and encouraged Cambodia to share its successful experience with other countries. The Regional Director also reaffirmed UNAIDS’ continued commitment to supporting and cooperating with Cambodia in strengthening the health sector, particularly in the fight against HIV/AIDS. In response, Samdech Thipadei highly valued the role of the United Nations in supporting Cambodia’s socio-economic development, particularly in the health sector, as well as its continued assistance in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Samdech Thipadei also highlighted that, from previous governments to the Royal Government in the Seventh Legislature of National Assembly, priority has consistently been given to placing the people at the centre of development by promoting healthcare, education, and employment creation as the foundations for sustainable national development. He further noted that the Royal Government has consistently attached great importance to strengthening the health sector through continuous improvements to health facilities and services at both the national and subnational levels. At the same time, Samdech Thipadei added that, despite Cambodia’s significant achievements in the health sector, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases remain major public health challenges that require sustained attention and continued priority from the Royal Government. Before concluding the meeting, Samdech Thipadei encouraged UNAIDS to continue strengthening its partnership and cooperation with Cambodia in developing the health sector. Cambodia and the United Kingdom Agree to Diversify Bilateral Relations and Cooperation On the afternoon of 9 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Seema Malhotra, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Indo-Pacific at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the United Kingdom, during his official visit to and participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum, held in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State expressed her satisfaction with and high appreciation for the progress achieved in Cambodia–UK relations and cooperation. She also expressed her satisfaction with the close partnership between the relevant ministries and institutions of both countries, particularly in the field of public financial management, as well as their joint efforts to promote increased British investment in Cambodia. Her Excellency Seema Malhotra further highlighted the importance of diversifying the United Kingdom’s partnerships by strengthening ties with ASEAN Member States in order to enhance connectivity, share best practices, and exchange valuable experiences with countries in the region. In response, Samdech Thipadei highly commended the United Kingdom’s valuable contributions to Cambodia’s socio-economic development, through its support for humanitarian mine action and the expansion of bilateral trade. He noted that diversification serves as an important means of strengthening connectivity by broadening markets and expanding trading partnerships for all countries. Samdech Thipadei also concurred with Her Excellency Seema Malhotra’s views on strengthening the United Kingdom’s engagement with ASEAN Member States, including Cambodia, particularly through enhanced cooperation in the economic and trade sectors. UN Under-Secretary-General Praises Cambodia’s Expertise in Demining On the afternoon of 9 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Ms Izumi Nakamitsu, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, during his official visit to and participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum, held in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, the Under-Secretary-General expressed her high appreciation for Cambodia’s expertise in clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) left over from past conflicts. She added that mine and UXO clearance is a complex undertaking requiring substantial time and resources. The Under-Secretary-General also commended the capabilities and experience of Cambodia’s peacekeeping forces, which have actively contributed to United Nations peacekeeping operations in numerous countries. She observed that this reflects Cambodia’s strong commitment to promoting peace and sharing its valuable experience with the international community. Furthermore, she recalled her mission to Cambodia prior to 1991, during which she contributed to efforts to facilitate the repatriation of Cambodian refugees to their homeland. In response, Samdech Thipadei expressed his deep appreciation for the valuable contributions of the United Nations to Cambodia’s peace process and socio-economic development. Samdech Thipadei: Youth Relations Are a Crucial Foundation for Cambodia–Viet Nam Relations On the afternoon of 9 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia received a courtesy call from His Excellency Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, during his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum (AFF), held in Hanoi on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union briefed Samdech Thipadei on the fruitful outcomes of the recent working meeting between the Central Youth of the Cambodian People’s Party and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The youth organisations of the two countries agreed to jointly organise a series of commemorative events and activities, particularly in the border provinces, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Viet Nam in 2027. Samdech Thipadei encouraged the youth of Cambodia and Viet Nam, as well as those of Cambodia, Laos, and Viet Nam, to establish regular communication mechanisms, particularly through annual exchanges, in order to strengthen solidarity and friendship and continue cultivating the excellent traditional ties inherited from previous generations of leaders of the two countries. US Deputy Secretary of State Highly Commends the Progress of Cambodia–US Relations On the afternoon of 9 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Christopher Landau, Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America, during his official visit to and participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum, held in Hanoi, the capital of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of State expressed his pleasure at the progress of relations between the United States and Cambodia, emphasising that both countries continue to have significant opportunities to further strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation. He also highly commended the conclusion of the landmark Open Skies Agreement between the United States and Cambodia, noting that it would further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation. At the same time, he expressed his satisfaction with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts to create a favourable investment environment that encourages American companies to invest in and expand their operations in Cambodia, thereby contributing significantly to the country’s socio-economic development. Furthermore, the Deputy Secretary noted that Cambodia possesses tremendous potential in the tourism sector due to its rich cultural heritage, which is globally recognised. Cambodia and Viet Nam Continue to Strengthen and Expand Bilateral Relations and Cooperation On the afternoon of 8 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUNManet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, during his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum (AFF), held in Hanoi on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly highly commended Cambodia’s dynamic development and achievements across all sectors. He expressed confidence that, under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei, Cambodia will continue to attain greater success and achieve further progress. His Excellency the chairman also expressed support for the consensus reached between the Governments of the two countries to further deepen bilateral cooperation. Cambodia and Vietnam Agree to Further Deepen Bilateral Relations in the Spirit of Good Neighbourliness, Traditional Friendship, Comprehensive Cooperation, and Lasting Stability On the morning of 8 June 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUNManet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, held bilateral talks with His Excellency Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, during his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum (AFF), held in Hanoi on 8–9 June 2026. During the meeting, Excellency the Vietnamese Prime Minister highly valued Cambodia’s rapid progress across all sectors and expressed confidence that, under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei, Cambodia would continue to achieve further development and significant accomplishments. In response, Samdech Thipadei congratulated Viet Nam on the strong economic growth and expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the Vietnamese Government, VietNam would successfully realise its development goals for 2030 and its long-term vision for 2045. កម្ពុជា-វៀតណាម ឯកភាពបន្តជំរុញទំនាក់ទំនងទ្វេភាគី ក្នុងស្មារតីនៃភាពជាអ្នកជិតខាងល្អ មិត្តភាពប្រពៃណី កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការគ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយ និងស្ថិរភាពយូរអង្វែង នាព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦, សម្តេចមហាបវរធិបតី ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានជួបពិភាក្សាទ្វេភាគីជាមួយ ឯកឧត្តម ឡេ មិញហ៊ឹង (Le Minh Hung) នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីនៃសាធារណរដ្ឋសង្គមនិយមវៀតណាម ក្នុងឱកាសនៃការអញ្ជើញបំពេញទស្សនកិច្ចផ្លូវការនៅសាធារណរដ្ឋសង្គមនិយមវៀតណាម និងចូលរួមវេទិកាអនាគតអាស៊ាន លើកទី៣ (3rd ASEAN Future Forum - AFF) ដែលប្រព្រឹត្តទៅនៅថ្ងៃទី៨-៩ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ នៅរដ្ឋធានីហាណូយ។ ក្នុងឱកាសនៃជំនួប, ឯកឧត្តមនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីវៀតណាមបានវាយតម្លៃខ្ពស់ចំពោះការរីកចម្រើនយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័សលើគ្រប់វិស័យរបស់កម្ពុជា និងបង្ហាញនូវជំនឿចិត្តយ៉ាងមុតមាំថា ក្រោមការដឹកនាំសម្តេចធិបតីនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ប្រទេសកម្ពុជានឹងបន្តសម្រេចបាននូវការអភិវឌ្ឍ និងសមិទ្ធផលធំៗជាច្រើនបន្ថែមទៀត។ ជាការឆ្លើយតប, សម្តេចធិបតីបានសម្តែងនូវការអបអរសាទរចំពោះជោគជ័យនៃកំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចក្នុងអត្រាខ្ពស់របស់ប្រទេសវៀតណាម និងជឿជាក់ថា ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់បក្សកុម្មុយនីស្តវៀតណាម និងរដ្ឋាភិបាលវៀតណាម ប្រទេសវៀតណាមនឹងឈានទៅសម្រេចបាននូវគោលដៅសហស្សវត្សរ៍ទាំងពីរ នៅឆ្នាំ២០៣០ និងឆ្នាំ២០៤៥។ ប្រមុខរដ្ឋាភិបាលទាំងពីរ បានសម្តែងនូវការពេញចិត្ត និងវាយតម្លៃខ្ពស់ចំពោះភាពរីកចម្រើនយ៉ាងល្អប្រសេីរ នៃទំនាក់ទំនង និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការលើគ្រប់វិស័យរវាងកម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាម ព្រមទាំងបានឯកភាពគ្នាក្នុងការរៀបចំព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នានាឱ្យបានអធិកអធម ដើម្បីអបអរសាទរខួបអនុស្សាវរីយ៍លើកទី៦០ នៃការបង្កើតទំនាក់ទំនងការទូតរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ នៅឆ្នាំ២០២៧ ខាងមុខ។  ជាមួយគ្នានេះ ប្រមុខរដ្ឋាភិបាលទាំងពីរ បានឯកភាព និងប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តយ៉ាងមុតមាំក្នុងការបន្តជំរុញទំនាក់ទំនងទ្វេភាគី ឱ្យកាន់តែស៊ីជម្រៅ និងឈានទៅដល់កម្រិតខ្ពស់ថ្មីមួយទៀត ក្នុងស្មារតីនៃភាពជាអ្នកជិតខាងល្អ មិត្តភាពប្រពៃណី កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការគ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយ និងស្ថិរភាពយូរអង្វែង។ ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំទាំងពីរក៏បានពិភាក្សា និងផ្លាស់ប្តូរទស្សនៈគ្នាអំពីការលើកកម្ពស់កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការលើវិស័យគន្លឹះសំខាន់ៗ រួមមាន៖ នយោបាយ, សេដ្ឋកិច្ច ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងការវិនិយោគ, សន្តិសុខ និងការពារជាតិ, អប់រំ និងការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈ, សុខាភិបាល, ទេសចរណ៍, វប្បធម៌, ថាមពល, ការតភ្ជាប់ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ, និងការផ្លាស់ប្តូររវាងប្រជាជននិងប្រជាជន។ សម្តេច​ធិបតី​ បាន​គូស​បញ្ជាក់អំពី​សារៈសំខាន់នៃការពន្លឿនការសម្រេចលើចំណុចការតភ្ជាប់នៃផ្លូវល្បឿនលឿនភ្នំពេញ-បាវិត និងហូជីមិញ-ម៉ុកបៃ,​ ការតភ្ជាប់ការធ្វើដំណើរតាមផ្លូវទឹក និងការពង្រីកជើងហោះហើរបន្ថែមរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។ ក្នុងវិស័យសេដ្ឋកិច្ច​ និងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម​ សម្តេច​ធិបតី​ បាន​ស្នេីដល់ការកែសម្រួលនីតិវិធី​សម្រាប់ការដឹកជញ្ជូនទំនិញឆ្លងកាត់ត្រង់រវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ សំដៅកាត់បន្ថយពេលវេលាដឹកជញ្ជូន។ មុននឹងបញ្ចប់ ប្រមុខរដ្ឋាភិបាលទាំងពីរ បានផ្លាស់ប្តូរទស្សនៈលើកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការក្នុងក្របខ័ណ្ឌតំបន់ និងអន្តរជាតិ ដែលជាផលប្រយោជន៍រួមនៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរ ៕ Join ឆាណែលតេលេក្រាមក្រុមអ្នកនាំពាក្យរបស់នាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី (t.me/spokespersonfo…) #hunmanet #Cambodia #spstpm #spokespersonforstpmforstpm
