Randall gets shoved, Brook is pulled down and his shirt pulled and nothing is called. Then he has to
Make a lenient call at the other end. It’s all wrong and out of his depth as a referee #AFCvCCM
English

@JacobSpoonley is right, @fc_auckland need to create goals and not let decisions dictate play. Play with an arrogance to win the game! Score goals. Put it in the net. 🥅 ⚽️ #AFCvCCM

@JOSH______NZ That was the thing he didnt go down. And probably if he had it would be stop in play. On the flip side, Brook is promoted and on goal and we get pulled back for a free kick 10m into the half 5m from the sideline 🤦🏽♂️
English

@stagryan I was on the fence about that; it probably should’ve been a FK but he also went down softly
English

@ryanator109 Yeah as I tweeted the Refs performance has been severely inconsistent but then not much to be said for AFC tonight and a lot of times this season, can’t hold momentum
English

@stagryan Fr, I’d have been gone down the tunnel way earlier if I was him because the team being shit too hasn’t helped
English

@JOSH______NZ If it’s anything like my lounge I kinda don’t blame him. It’s been a hard watch

77 scoring like so many legendary 7s off the dead ball!!! Amazing from Brook!!! #AFCvMVC

This has been one of the more inconsistent refereeing performances I’ve watched in a while. #AFCvMVC

@Matt16082013 @BigRed_AKLD_FC I like that they are confident enough to go you know what we actually don’t need to play out every single time, we are strong and dangerous enough to absorb and break down teams. Kicking it long or out for a throw is not the end of the world.
English

@BigRed_AKLD_FC Agreed. The defence & Woud appear more in sync.
English

Ideally, this is us hitting our straps for the run into finals. I assumed the Jets would stumble at some point, just need them to stumble some more, though I can't lie the Plate race going to the last game of the season would be awesome.

3 Goals, 3 Points😄😄😄 #AKLvMLC

@ryanator109 He got an absolute Spray on that chance in the first half which the Phoenix sent wide for tracking back slow and without marking a man
English

Credit to Howieson who has been very good, was hoping he would be since we’re missing Louis

@henrylee_nz Stats of 4-0 from 3 shots on target and the fact that Phoenix took until deep into the second half before Auckland made a save, might have other sides looking at nullifying attacks a bit more
English

@henrylee_nz Just saw a post criticising AFCs refusal to play out from the back and sparse amount of times they went back to Woud, which I think is both credit to the capability of especially Eze, but also Nagasaki and Amiento and Coaching and defensive genius which resulted in a clean sheet
English

People will be quick to look at how poor the Phoenix were, but it was a Steve Corica masterclass tonight.
Astonishingly, it was arguably Auckland FC’s weakest lineup in an A-League match. No Verstraete, no Pijnaker, no Cosgrove, with Brook and Brimmer on the bench. #WELvAKL
