Pickering eventually surrendered peacefully and spent nearly a year in jail for his actions. Against all expectations, his son survived and went on to recover. Why did he spend time in jail when he was just defending his son’s life. When you are an organ donor, they try to take you off life support pretty quickly.

Chuck Norris wasn’t just the tough guy on screen as Walker, Texas Ranger or in his action movies—he was a real martial arts master who grew up poor, became a six-time karate champion, served his country as a Marine, built a family he loved as a caring husband, father, and grandfather, and gave his life to Christ with the same strong discipline. Her persistent prayers helped him avoid losing his soul to fame's temptations and to recommit to God.

This is absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to post on the day of his passing. Politicizing the death of an American icon who gave selflessly to so many causes. You know, it’s OK to have admiration for AND mourn the loss of someone even if you don’t agree with them politically or have different beliefs than them. STOP trying to further divide people and drive the idea that you have to hate someone that thinks differently than you, and using the passing of Chuck Norris to do so is lower than low. You cannot hate the media enough. Shame on you. DO BETTER.
