Well here's my 50 favourite anime/manga. Crazy hard to make when I sat down to think about it since I love them all so much

Don’t mean to sound salty but this is what the Yozakura Family anime should’ve looked like

@SHINGEKIYAIBA Kind of hard to explain cause it’s quite wacky but it’s basically a fantasy action comedy with some romance set in a demon world with heaps of different demons wreaking havoc while the selfish and lazy vampire MC is trying to save this weak mysterious human girl

Blood Lad is a really fun and easy read. The chapters flow so well, you can just fly through them

@benji55110 @Josuke8B Yeah other than the art direction it only looks a little above average. Definitely nothing amazing has been shown

@Josuke8B @summerskyrender I mean in comparison to other jump productions it kind of is While I don't think studio CUE being a newbie studio affects it particularly, I'm not seeing anything that makes it a stand out production Like it kinda looks better than your average show but not much more for me

@SHINGEKIYAIBA It’s like a 6/10 for me lol. Above average but nothing overly memorable or consistently good if you get what I mean

@SHINGEKIYAIBA Well… it was always kinda good just inconsistent. It certainly wasn’t a bad series in anyway. Kinda average with some good patches until it had a pretty consistent good run towards the end which was rushed

@Josuke8B Sakamoto was a weird miss, Witch Watch which took even longer was better. Kagurabachi is also way bigger than Sakamoto in respect to their runs, it would be a catastrophic failure for it to not be high quality

@summerskyrender Well, Sakamoto took years to get an anime and it really was bad. I hope it is not the same for others.

@Josuke8B Ofc Kill Blue got the better end of the stick, it started earlier and has a 30 million copy name attached to it. Kagurabachi will no doubt be a higher quality product when it eventually comes. Unfortunately Nue still needs its announcement too, could be first

@summerskyrender @Josuke8B Tbf it's not the weirdest thing to happen, after all they greenlit an Anime for Chojo months after axing it with no remorse

@benji55110 @Josuke8B Oh for sure. Most of the weirdness is more that it was axed regardless of an anime being greenlit. I totally understand them pushing it out because of Fujimaki’s name. They did the same with The Elusive Samurai

@summerskyrender @Josuke8B Ig the lucky exception being that kill blue ended so there was nowhere else to announce the Anime than at the end and that the project may have started earlier due to Kill Blue's author being known + the fact that it looks to be a much more low-key production than Bachi will get

@KyoutarosDad Fr. Gondaira’s art is really shiny and vibrant, I always imagined a Yozakura anime having a lot of vibrant colours and flashes kind of like the newer stuff in the OP anime

I kinda agree, the direction is alot more vibrant. I always thought colourful backgrounds would've suited the series better tho Yozakura still has a nice visual language at times it's main problem is consistency

Can anyone tell me if Black Clover’s ending in the next GIGA issue? And if so when will that drop?

@Josuke8B I agree with both of those points, but it’s more that Kill Blue is a weird lucky exception than Kagurabachi being an unlucky exception

@summerskyrender But isn't it weird that Kill Blue is only like 6 months older and never got to the sales of Kagurabachi and still a studio got holding of it and produced the anime much before Kagurabachi even releases? I still find an wild decision to let Kagurabachi anime be announced so late.

@Josuke8B Because Kill Blue is older and because Covid delayed some production WSJ obtained a long list of series that needed an adaptation. It sucks and is a business error but it’s not like Kagurabachi is getting any “worse” treatment than its peers

@summerskyrender Why do you think Kill Blue has an anime starting next season while Kagurabachi got not even an announcement?

@GadgetDog0 While not an avid fan I still liked Kill Blue too. But this adaptation really captures the vibrancy of the series, which is something Gondaira’s art excels at even more than Fujimaki’s. Kill Blue looks so full of life here, in contrast to MYF rip

@summerskyrender Tbf IM one of the few Kill Blue enjoyers,BUT YEAAAA,Yozafam could had a better adaptation Man,considering probably NOBODY gonna watch Kill Blue
