At first glance, that might sound like more opportunity… but for who?
More years for current college athletes means fewer open roster spots. Fewer spots means fewer chances for high school athletes to earn scholarships and live out their dream at the next level.
Every decision like this shifts the landscape and not always in favor of the next generation.
So the real question is:
Are we creating more opportunity… or just redistributing it?
