Starlink has committed to a R500 million investment to connect 5,000 rural schools with free, high-speed internet, benefiting more than 2.4 million learners each year. But it is still on hold. Why? Because South African regulations require 30% local Black ownership for telecom licenses. South African farmers and rural communities are asking the government to approve Starlink. In many remote areas, there is no internet access at all, and people have to drive several kilometers just to get basic connectivity. The South African government is the enemy of its own people.

Last night was wild guys! Thank you. Sucks we got fucked by Kick but talking to Eddie now in hopes of a smoother run tonight 🫡 Run it back stream tonight, 7PM CET. Going to try give away $100K+ if Kick doesn't keep crashing/fucking us. We had around 47k unique chatters last night, but couldn't surpass 10-11k viewers which were held in the first 5 minutes of the stream due to all the hype of the come back. Makes 0 sense, totally nonsensical and mathematically impossible as we had 9k viewers with 15k chatters. For reference, all other Kick streamers that are at "20k viewers" have like 2k unique chatters 💀
