My people endure a living nightmare and everyone, men included, have performed acts of deep heroism. The dehumanization of Arab men is what makes us see young boys as potential threats that must be killed for preserving “security.” This comment hurts so much.

@cclabubu to the ones back home and suffer similarly too. I don’t know who hurt you to develop this much hatred and disregard for human life, but I hope you get the justice you deserve. But dehumanizing Palestinian men enduring horrors contributes to the disposability of their lives.

@cclabubu like mine segregated themselves historically for protection. That means all the mental illnesses, stupid religious beliefs, misogyny, and homophobia they have from the region came with them too. So, despite being in “the West” many immigrants experience conditions similar…

Maybe I need to take a short break from this site. It’s already enough to see my sisters wearing the hijab deal with sheer hatred and vitriol when they already go through so much. And now this…I’m so hurt by all this. Why is it so hard to listen to people when they speak?

I wish Muslim societies aloud girls to just be Muslim girls, instead women are seen as representatives of the religion, and the community, they're the holders of their family's honor and must act right or else ppl will eat them alive with their talking, and parents won't+

I wear hijab as a political protest. That's it. Fuck every other person coming up with different reasons to wear or not wear it. I just want to not feel compelled for writing about it anymore. It is like something I want to avoid futile to discuss it but this is my protest.

@JuJuna5266 @x8is_ What about F’deeha culture? We’re super arrogant. But Arabs care so much about what other people say they will conduct whole schemes to restore their “honor” (reputation). We gossip consistently to extract info we can use against others. We hurt family because of what people say.
