@_Itszoyaa I always do that. I can watch a well-written story with my non-favorite actors much more easily than a poorly written one with my favorite actors.

look forward to work of writers instead of actors and you will be less disappointed ✌️

🎬 🇨🇳 Go Ahead (以家人之名) 📺 Hunan TV / iQIYI ⭐️ 8/10 Family | Romance | Healing A heartfelt drama about found family, healing, and growing up. The family dynamics are the real highlight. It stumbles a bit in the later half, but the emotional core still hits. Worth a watch.

🎬 🇨🇳 Love Story in the 1970s ⭐️ 10/10 Romance | Period | Slice of Life A drama where you wish you could step into their world. I smiled with them & cried with them. Beautifully written and executed, with the struggles of that time portrayed so authentically. A true gem.

Overall, Go Ahead was a solid watch—definitely not perfect, but still very memorable. The first half had me completely hooked, the second half… I kinda powered through 😭 but I’m still glad I watched it.

I just wish we got a proper glimpse into their lives after everything settled. After all that emotional investment, the ending felt a bit rushed and slightly incomplete. I needed more closure… like, let me see how their lives were few years ahead.

Finally I finished #GoAhead and I have some thoughts about it. What I genuinely loved the most was how beautifully it explored different family dynamics. It really pushed the idea that “family” isn’t just about blood. It's about who shows up, who stays, and who chooses you.
