Wow. So this game was at death's door. They secured funding. Promised to finish the story if for some reason end of service comes. Are a fairly small team. And the storytelling is all about existentialism and coming face to face with death. AND they used what they felt might be their last bit of funding to ask Emi Evans to sing a sort of farewell song for the game? Take my money. Slay the spire but gothic horror? I like.

I feel a little relieved when a PGR character only has one ult. Not only because it decreases how many cutscenes show up, but because it makes characters who have millions of crazy animations stand out more. Both have different positives, and different people appreciate each.

I may have made some inadvisable decisions with my pull currency, but I have no regrets!

I like the rhythm game in Wuthering Waves, but I have some criticisms and issues with it: -Gameplay performance is poor. As more parts of the map load in, the FOV jitters and offsets note placements temporarily, requiring some notes to be registered later than the music to land a perfect hit. This makes it unreasonably hard to AP any map as Sigrika. -Boost sections have major blind spots in some songs (especially the OSTs) and adds artificial difficulty. -Jump (space bar) hitsound fires a few ms later vs all other hitsounds. -Not enough visual contrast between holds and jumps. Multiple jumps in series can easily be mistaken as a hold. Muse Dash collab maps were the most fun and most fair, but some of the OST mappings are pretty bad with what's mentioned above! Still had lots of fun, but I think it needs some fixing. And bonus points for including Porsche Arrives 😌
