At some point, ARMYs need to understand the difference between advocacy and optics.
Mass-tagging industry figures, creating daily hashtags, and forcing narratives rarely changes outcomes. If anything, it can make genuine support look manufactured.
The strongest promotion has always been organic: people discovering the music, critics discussing the work, fans sharing what they genuinely love, and audiences showing up through streams, sales, and engagement.
If PR isn't your area of expertise, that's okay. Not everyone needs to be a strategist. Supporting the music itself is already valuable. Sometimes the most effective thing a fan can do is let the work speak for itself.
If you cannot do PR, just stream.
Thankyou.

A Korean man was spotted in Mexico after the Mexico v Korea match singing BTS’ “Body to Body.” Mexicans immediately joined in, singing “Arirang” word-for-word.
The fact BTS worried people might reject something so precious to Korean history, only for the world to embrace it like this… 🥺🇲🇽💜🇰🇷

📣: i’ll say this once so i hope it’s clear bc this is so basic and shouldn’t be repeated twice. and ill be deleting to remove trace.
a lot of R@ members DO NOT really respond well to feeling pushed toward anything. tagging them is probably the fastest way to make them less interested. it will backfire. a lot of them don’t like feeling like they’re being directed toward a conclusion or recruited into a conversation. If they’re tagged en masse, it can easily come across as pressure, even if that’s not the intention. they usually need to arrive at things on their own. and with certain fandoms already having a reputation for being a bit intense (which we love but can backfire at times 🤷🏻♀️), some people tend to tune out before the conversation even starts.
that’s why it works better when the discussion happens NATURALLY (but ofc we put a lot of force behind the curtains, smartly) and stays focused on the artistry itself. I don't really get why that's such a hard thing to do when, at the end of the day, that's the whole reason most of us are here in the first place.
