I used to think surgeons had the harshest workplace culture. That was probably my med school bias. Only recently did I realise how grotesque the culture in some tier-1 law firms can be. Things I hear from places like CAM, Mumbai sound less like professionalism and more like organised humiliation. Tearing up a document during an impossible deadline & “abusing” someone in front of juniors is not high standards. Idk if HR is dead there or its the fear of rising in this ladder which or prevents people from approaching HR! It is institutionalised toxicity. 110-120 hours work week is stupidity. Law is equally bad or maybe worse compared to medicine, it’s just they get financially remunerated way more.

Mr. SK Roongta, former Chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), from the 1966 batch 3. Mr. Krishna Sridhar (Qualcomm) and Ms. Arushi Aggarwal, an alumni couple from the 2005 batch With these additions, BITS Pilani now has more than 300 alumni funded scholarships, apart from institutional scholarships that already support one in every four students each year. Open on all sides. Light, air, silence. A small municipal park in front. No water issues. Rent? ₹47k. Space. Ventilation. Calm. Luxury isn’t always what is sold. Sometimes, it’s what already exists.
