why most memecoins are dead by day 2. 👷 it's not the chart. it's not the marketing. it's not even the dev, most of the time. it's that there's no reason to come back tomorrow. day 1 everyone's there for the same thing — the pump. chart goes up, chat is loud, everyone's a genius. then day 2 comes. chart's flat. the loud ones already sold. and every holder quietly asks himself the same thing: "...now what?" if the answer is nothing, you're already dead. you just don't have the chart to prove it yet. i build the boring fix nobody wants to do: a reason to come back. something to actually do that pays. when "now what" has an answer — dig, climb, get paid — the chart stops being the whole game. the people who'd dump on day 2 are busy on day 2 instead. here's the part most devs skip: retention is a math problem before it's a fun problem. if the loop that brings someone back tomorrow isn't baked into the economy on day 0, no amount of art or hype patches it later. you can't bolt on a reason to care. most of this industry optimizes for the first green candle. i optimize for the 30th day. one of those is a trade. the other is a product. slower. uglier early. but it's the only version still standing in a month. back to work.
