Hey Guys,
I wanna conclude this day with a small letter to the Tristate community.
Not Twitter, just us. The 0-2er, 1-2er, 2-2er, and onward. The money matcher. The shit talker. The gamer. The cheeser. The guy who owes the discord sidebets server hella bread.
The only community that's ever truly mattered to me.
We get so wrapped up in our daily lives, we come to these weekly events with different purposes. Most, for the competition. Some, for the friendships and connections.
For some, it's an escape - a few hours away from everything that's weighing on you lifewise. I understand how hard it can be to open up about what you're going through when you come here specifically to get away from it. Some days can be harder than others, and I get that too.
I really need y'all to know, you're never alone. Talk to one another or someone new; about the game and life. Try to understand more about each other. Be there for the ones who earned your trust. And maybe at a certain point, learn from each other's mistakes and accomplishments.
Hell, please don't even hesitate to walk into the Fusion Stream room to bug me. Some days may be busier than others & I'll be too "scrambled" to talk, but I do my best to get back to you and try to know everybody to a small personal level - if you'd let me into that part of your life, that is.
I do not want you guys to look at me as some leader. I'm just like you guys, only I press different buttons now.
All I want is for y'all to be there for one another and have fun. Take care of not only your body, but your minds. Move with purpose and thought. Cut the troublemakin and the bad seeds out of your life, focus on your paper and academics. Keep excelling and remember, you always have something to learn everyday. We don't start off perfect, but we don't die perfect either.
Don't wait until it's too late to reach out, and don't assume someone else will check in. We only got one life so make the absolute best of it!
