@BritIceHockey He was a genuinely lovely guy! I was secretary of the Cobras supporters club. He came for tea one night with #27 Frank La Scala. Just enjoyed his food & had a good time talking about hockey & home, & played with my dog. R.I.P. #36. 💔

So sad to hear this news tonight. Rob Trumbley was absolute box office during his time in Newcastle with the Cobras, Riverkings and @VipersHockey where he captained the team in 2002 to 2004. RIP #36

It’s with great sadness we have heard of the passing of former Edinburgh Capital Rob Trumbley. Trummer iced with the club back in season 2001-2002 in the BNL. In 32 games he scored 13 goals, 26 assists for 39 points picking up 105 penalty minutes.

We have some sad news to share with you. We have sadly found a body in the search for missing #Newcastle woman Katherine Watson.
The 50-year-old, also known as Katie, was reported missing yesterday.
Extensive searches have been carried out since then to locate her.
