You would have to do a break down of square footage of the freezer, then electricity costs of the freezer. So averaging $8 per month (sliding scale for costs going up) for the electricity to running freezer, most stand alone freezers are 5 cubic feet. That ham appears to be around half a cubic foot for argument sake. So 10% of storage. So only $0.08 per month over 32 years, 384 months x 0.08 = $30.72 storage costs estimated over the life time of the ham. I'm now interested and want to know his per kilowatt hour charges and the size of the freezer.
