Today, our Executive Director, Abigail Penny, was on the front lines in Grimsby witnessing history unfold, joined by fish expert Mark Borthwick. In a reckless and irresponsible move, the Council Planning Committee gave the green light on the UK's first fully on-land RAS farm. It’s bigger than any salmon farm currently in operation globally 🤯 As plans for this super-sized salmon farm emerge, we're standing firmly against this cruel and unsustainable venture. On-land farms are cruel to animals and wreak havoc on the environment. We're not going to give up - we will do everything in our power to fight this!
