When Labour came to power July 2024 it inherited a recent OBR forecast of a £77bn deficit for 2025/26. Part of a sensible, steady downward trend in borrowing after the binge borrowing during the pandemic and the energy crisis caused by the Ukraine war. Reeves blew up that downward trend and went on yet another borrowing binge, which is why the deficit ended up £132bn in 25/26, despite a massive increase in taxes. I see no grounds for ‘warm words’ whatsoever. Her reckless fiscal policies are why we have the highest borrowing costs in the G7.

Unless what wasn’t aired was Adam thumpingJimmy in the face and threatening to kill his dog, there’s nothing he could’ve said or done that Jimmy didn’t deserve for what he did in my opinion 🤷‍♀️ #ImACeleb

The church was full of boxers for Ricky Hatton’s funeral, they were all saying he should have reached out if his mental health was suffering, now some of them are saying Adam Thomas should man up, because he’s mentioned his mental health, hypocrisy at its finest.

@Carlychurch15 @johnaokane @davidhaye @jimmybullard Big unit like Haye was imposing himself on Adam, knowing in himself he is untouchable physically, so yes Adam would feel helpless. I think Adam was taken to the brink by that, so when he got completely & utterly shafted by Jimmy he reacted verbally as I think most people would.

@tim_moose @johnaokane @davidhaye @jimmybullard You can disagree with what Jimmy did and still criticise Adam’s behaviour. Adam behaved appallingly, other celebs stated they thought he was going to get physical with Jimmy. How are people overlooking this and still painting Adam as a victim?

@tim_moose @Cantona_Collars Did he fail at Middlesbrough? Top 10 each season and 2 out of the 3 seasons he was in contention for promotion. Considering it was his first managerial job I'd say that's good enough.

I've read a lot of 'if Carrick gets top 4 he deserves the job' – I don't fully agree. If he gets top 4 I believe he has earned the opportunity to put his case forward in an interview as to why & how he can win the league in 2 years time. 👆 That is the stated goal of INEOS
