literally when i was 22 my doctor asked me if i’d ever had sex and when i said no she looked at me like i was insane and said “why not?” and then gave me the most traumatic pap smear experience of my life

this reminds me how women and girls have talked about medical staff not believing them about never having sex and then not even trying to be gentle with pap smears. suck how women can't even feel safe with female doctors/nurses because misogyny is just that baked into culture
