They created a song based on taekwondo but it didnt make it to the album 😭😭😭 "The album logo was Jungkook's idea. The album concept was established as the members' opinions were added from various angles, and since all of us are Korean, there was also a suggestion that it would be good to naturally incorporate Korean element"

According to BTS members "SWIM" is the most minimal track in the album, its not a song that instantly grabs your attention but it has a long lasting impact and grows on you. They tried to create a song better than SWIM as a title track for a month but SWIM just felt the most natural. Its simple yet appealing

To add : The members clearly stated It matched the theme thet wanted to convey the most, so chose it as the title track.

Them trying to come up with a better title track than SWIM and working for over a month on it but finalising SWIM should tell you alot We have a HIT on our hands, SONG OF THE YEAR

BTS — "If you listen to all the songs on the new album, the composition itself is solid. We focused on broadly expanding our range from genre and sound to vocal expression. We made an effort to try genres that weren't familiar to us and strived to incorporate expressions we hadn't attempted before. In 'FYA,' we showcased a hyper-jersey-based sound highlighting raw energy, while in 'Like Animals' and 'Merry Go Round,' we added psychedelic textures to attempt a style of music distinct from our previous work"

Q: One thing that hasn't changed compared to the past? 🐨 : The side of myself that I like the most comes out when I am with the members. It is things like the innocence and childlike wonder of my childhood. We often say that we have the most fun when we are together. It is not easy to meet friends who are like family. 🐹 : Rather than saying things have changed, if I had to point out what has improved, it would be that the members have become closer. The atmosphere of naturally laughing and joking around when we are together remains the same. "ARIRANG" is an album that is most like-BTS. "There is always the pressure to show a new and better side of ourselves. There are also countless concerns. Nevertheless, I wanted to express the mindset that we will not stop and will continue to swim forward."

Q: How do you feel about your comeback after 3 years and 9 months? BTS: We are excited and nervous but above all we are overwhelmed with emotion. We are happy and grateful just for the fact that the seven of us can gather and do something together after such a long time. We have returned with great preparations, just as much as ARMY has waited for us for so long. The very fact that we can show you our best selves again is a source of great emotion and happiness. Since it is our first group album in a long while, we are as excited as we are afraid, but we have no major worries because the members and ARMY are with us.
