Two sticks of RAM are over $900 right now because of companies like NVIDIA who want to negate artist direction in video games with an AI slop filter that makes everything look like a snapchat photo, but nah people are just being "performative" by not liking it.

All jokes aside, I think the DLSS 5 hysteria and concerns (valid/non-performative ones) will blow over once we see the tech being utilised by devs. The recency bias over "AI Slop" narratives are steering the discourse atm.
