This horse needed the run when down the field at Cheltenham and was just too keen to do himself justice. These are much calmer waters and his class is expected to tell so I think he'll bounce back in a big way and come out on top here. I'm looking forward to seeing HE'S ON FIRE back out. This horse made a pretty emphatic start winning by 20 lengths on debut for this yard are Carlisle. He went through the race like a smart horse and with improvement to come from this French recruit he could prove up to the task here. If he wins this he is a very nice prospect going forward. Hard to oppose MONDO MAN here and on another day he could easily have been the NAP. I wouldn't put you off sticking him with the NAP and NEXT BEST in a treble as that would pay nice. He arrives on a hat-trick and the penny really seems to have dropped now. His form is progressive and I have him better than this field so he should get the job done. Great chance for MARRY THE NIGHT to bounce back to winning ways. He was denied the hat-trick at Wolverhampton but back over this C&D he has plenty going for him again and I'll be surprised if he doesn't go off favourite as he is the most likely winner for me in what looks another winnable race on paper. Space Blues colt BALTIC FLEET ran well at Windsor on debut and then he improved to open his account at Yarmouth albeit narrowly. He goes up in trip again and I know his trainer George Boughey thinks a lot of him so he should follow up against these despite lacking a recent run. He could be a horse to follow for the season ahead and should get the better of Colourband. This C&D really suits CIOTOG well and back down the weights he could run a big race here with Billy Loughnane booked. He won off a 12lb higher mark just last year so is clearly well handicapped and it is no surprise to see the money coming as he could turn into a bit of a gamble.
