I've now moved onto watching Safe, thus completing my trilogy of suburban-mystery-thriller-TV-series-where-everyone-lives-in-huge-homes.

Having watched The Stranger followed by The Split, my main takeaway is that TV producers seem to think we all live in huge houses with driveways, double-fronted doors, entrance halls and massive kitchens.
