In 2024 studies showed that men aren't becoming emotionally mature, on average, until their mid 40s. That's over half their expected lifespan. In the 70's on average men reached emotional maturity at age 25. Women, now at 30 yrs old; in 70s it was at 20. Emotional maturity is more than emotional regulation: it's responsibility, accountability, empathy, competence, and capability. This man is also displaying cognitive deficiency, as in some sort of mental/social disability. There are a lot of people mentally/emotionally challenged who have not received help and are confused why others won't healthily interact with them. Some people are also connecting with these types of people without recognizing that they are "ill".
