I received a message a few weeks ago from a transgender person that I helped with groceries a couple of times.
He's a biological male but identifies as a female.
I told this person that I will not participate in their "mental illness" but I also said I won't turn you down if you're hungry.
Well, when this person messaged me they admitted that I was right. He has a history of mental illness. Mainly schizophrenia.
He asked if we could meet to discuss that. I replied gently that im not a mental health expert and I was the wrong person to reach out to about that issue.
You see, they know that something isn't right. Why are people enabling them rather than guiding them to get the help they need.
This person is genuinely a good person but isn't getting the help they need.
Just thought I'd share. It still bothers me when I think about it.

What an awesome day. Went to buy a vintage sewing machine and met a couple who immigrated from Poland and Canada, after meeting online.
I walked away with an authentic pierogi recipe and one of the most enjoyable conversations on woodworking as the man shared his craft. He built their house, kids away at college and living the American dream.
One thing I noted was their enthusiasm and work ethic. Both were electric. I will be back when I can treat myself to one of his productions. He gave me a lovely piece of Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar. Uplifting to meet people who love what they do.

We need a reunion of sorts where we lock all the podcast war people in a room with a mediator who won’t let anyone leave until everyone stops the TMZ soap opera BS.
We’re powerful when we’re united (look at 2024) and weak when we’re divided.
The current environment is untenable unless you want to live in a communist woke hellhole.
I’m happy to moderate and hide the keys until everyone stops and gets back on the same page about saving our country from woke lunatics. Bonus @elonmusk could stream it on X but I’m keeping the door locked until there’s some kind of treaty to end this.
Seriously though, what’s playing out is straight up evil at work to drive a stake in the heart of our movement to save this country from woke communists. @elonmusk The algorithm overcompensates. I rarely see the big accounts that I like most and see about 50% low quality stuff I don't like. Appox. 20% is redundant, around 30% is a mix, mostly good and with new exposures. One reply on my song and video, the next one will be put elsewhere.

The insurance for roofs has turned quite bad for homeowners and insurance companies alike. The extreme weather and damages are the main factor. Our old neighborhood had many roofs replaced a few years ago. Now coverage is very strict, higher premiums and skyrocketing deductible. I hope you can find help. Home ownership is getting very tough on limited and lower incomes. I feel your pain.

I had my roof inspected after the wind storm. It looks like I will need to cover about 1/2 the cost myself which is around 8-9k.
The world feels so heavy with the loss of my husband three weeks ago. But with prayer and friendship…I believe there is a plan for all of this.
