The last time I visited Amsterdam was in June 2023. I ordered an Uber to take me from my hotel to Dam Square. The driver was a Dutch-born man of Turkish origin. We started talking about the immigration crisis in Europe. And with complete confidence, he looked at me and said: “By Allah, we will take over Europe.” I asked him, “But you were born here. You’re Dutch. How can you talk like this?” He said: “What unites us is Islam. The world must submit to Islam. We don’t see borders.” I tried to talk to him rationally about Islam, its historical violence, its authoritarianism, why it doesn't coexist in any modern society, and I shared with him that I was a former Muslim. He got visibly angry. God knows I’m not exaggerating, he threatened me. He told me, flat-out, that I deserve to die and he would do it himself. This wasn’t in Syria, Iraq, or Iran. This was in Amsterdam. A liberal, Western European city. Supposedly free. Supposedly safe. This is the consequence of importing ideology without accountability, Islam wrapped in Western citizenship. They may hold European passports, but their allegiance isn’t to Europe, it’s to a global Islamic identity that rejects your freedoms, your values, and your existence if you dare question it.

I genuinely don’t know whether to laugh or lose my mind anymore at this European hypocritical double standards. When it comes to Vladimir Putin, suddenly it’s Churchillian resolve. No compromise. No dialogue. Arm Ukraine to the teeth, sanction everything that moves, wreck your own energy security if necessary - because tyranny must be confronted. Fine. I actually respect the consistency of that … in isolation. But then you turn around and lecture us - us - the Gulf monarchies, Jordan and Israel, about showing restraint with Tehran? About dialogue? About coexistence? Are you serious? For forty years - forty bloody years - this regime has been waging a shadow war across the region. Militias, proxies, sleeper cells, terror networks, destabilizing entire countries - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen - and threatening the Gulf monarchies, Jordan, and Israel nonstop. This isn’t theoretical. This isn’t abstract. This is lived reality. And yet here come Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and the rest of the European choir, gently advising us to calm down, de-escalate, and - what was it again? - “give diplomacy a chance.” Diplomacy with who, exactly? With a system that has built its entire regional strategy on plausible deniability and proxy terror violence? You were willing to absorb inflation, energy shocks, and political backlash at home to confront Moscow. You made that choice. You said: this is the price of standing up to a tyrant. So don’t come here and tell us - after decades of being on the receiving end - that we should just sit down, smile politely, and “coexist.” Either you believe in confronting tyranny everywhere .. or you don’t. Macron, Starmer, rest of EU leaders and top bureaucrats should just STFU and spare us the self righteous sanctimonious lectures!🤐🤫

Israel doesn’t need allies who “tolerate it” like we’re some 18th century colony of yours. The majority of Europe has been anything but supportive, as evidenced today by Italy, and repeatedly over the last 2.5 years. Europe benefits from the relationship just as much as Israel. We are no junior partner here as your countries increasingly turn to us to help you defend yourselves. In the context of that relationship Israel is free to criticize Europe at least as much as Europe criticizes Israel.

I would not seek to provoke and alienate Europe if I were Israel. Europe has been very tolerant and supportive of Israel. But if Netanyahu wants to have a fight with Europe and be left with only the Trump government as their friends, this kind of rhetoric can surely achieve it.

Viktor Orban didn’t cancel any elections and never arrested people for social media posts. He also stepped down after his election loss and is partaking in a peaceful transfer of power. But, don’t forget, he was a dictator. Keir Starmer attempted to cancel about 1,000 local council elections next month and arrests about 12,000 people a year for social media posts. I lived in Hungary for several years under the Orbán dictatorship. The invoice is now due, and this latest outburst is proof you feel the weight of it in your bones. A sovereign people does not debate its own replacement. It secures its right to remain. Pressure will come dressed as virtue. It always does. Shame, sermons, sanctions. Tired old tools with new voices. They mistake restraint for weakness. They always do. America is not sustained by your worthless approval. It is sustained by will. It's sustained by steel laid down long before the argument, by ships already at sea, by a people who have paid in blood for the simple right to decide their own future. That memory does not fade. It simply hardens. We are NOT asking permission. Nor are we seeking consensus. We are setting terms. We will not thin out. We will not be dissolved. We will not be replaced. We remain. And all you can do is shriek at a country that has heard it all before. But the world runs on something older than your arguments. If you want us to die, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way.
