@GotBanned95 @whereisaaron @WilliamRAguilar @M300Wrex @sgaragarru87 I know it is false what Carney is saying because FSR 4 uses FP8 and PSSR 2.0 uses INT 8. Carney is using deceptive language. He is technically right, the same neural network just means transformer, which is true, PSSR used to use CNN but switched to tranformer.

@TheEggman64 Bridge Crew too 😢 Bridge Crew is the sort of game the studio should have kept releasing DLC for, not to mention a hybrid mode. You don't always have to be making a new game. NMS show another path where you just work in keeping your game relevant for ongoing sales.

If this is indeed the last Playstation published single player game on PC, then it's potentially @NixxesSoftware swan song if initial impressions are anything to go by (with input from Kojima I'm sure) Stunning to look at, smooth and perfectly optimised, ray tracing features (first time for Decima), full duelsense support, great settings menu, new upscaler (pico), trophy support. Its got it all, a perfect example of a console first game, ported to PC. #DeathStranding2PC #DeathStranding2

PS5 Pro's New PSSR 2.0 is better than DLSS 5.0 for the simple reason that DLSS is now trying to do too much. What I mean is that AI Enhancers should be doing just that: Enhancing the Existing Artwork of Human Beings not replacing the artwork of Human Beings.

I know that's not true because PSSR 2.0 is objectively better than FSR 4.0 because PSSR 2.0 was built with FSR 4.0 as a stepping stone that was learned from and surpassed via Project Amethyst. Just like PSSR 1 was a stepping stone that was learned from and surpassed in the development of FSR 4.0 We already know as an objective fact that PSSR 2.0 is better than FSR 4.0, and according to internal testing it is as good or better than DLSS 4.0, depending on the game and not too far behind DLSS 4.5

Just tried FSR Upscaling 4.1 in a few PC games. It’s based on the same neural network as the upgraded PSSR we released for PS5 Pro… and it looks stunning! Wonderful working with @jackhuynh and the @AMD team as we collaborate on AI graphics tech. Big win for Project Amethyst :-)

@PaulTassi Yeah, Microsoft have backed the wrong AI there with Copilot for their agent replies. If only they'd used Grok instead, it would have given the only sensible answer to "Nobody asked for this" which is of course "Your mom" 🤷‍♂️

That's like whole AI field, short of a Turing Test and what you could call intelligence. How it works matters more than labels.

@Duoae @KahliefAdams @SpawnOnMe Your theory is Jensen is not a reliable source for NVIDIA? 🤷‍♂️ Say Jensen made verbal oopsie; NVIDIA didn't have to repeat the mistake in a press release. You have to be AI billionaire disconnected not to realise it's a toxic term 😅 Demo presenters likely worked hard to avoid it.
