@ABignaud shows the impact of SPP1 infection on chromosome structure of B. subtilis. In particular, transient formation of a strong border in the HiC map of the host chromosome, which can't be fully explained so far. #vom2023

Happy to share our new publication on the OMM12 model in @MicrobiomeJ, in which we used 3C and virome seq to unveil the huge diversity of bacterial genome architectures. This also led us to define the intestinal virome of the OMM12 mice. bit.ly/3BQ3D41

Our preprint on the chromosome-level assembly and analysis of 2 Acanthamoeba castellanii genomes is online ! We used this assembly to look at changes in chromosome folding during infection by Legionella #instagraal
