Let’s be clear about something: the only reason Republicans are targeting ActBlue is that they want to destroy the Democratic Party’s ability to raise money from small-dollar donors. It’s a completely bullshit attack, and people in glass houses should not throw stones.

Democrats have a massive small-dollar fundraising advantage and Republicans want to take that away. Never - ever - lose sight and understanding that these investigations are about that fact and that fact almost exclusively.

First and foremost, Republican attacks and investigations into ActBlue are, of course, 100% political and designed to degrade Dems ability to compete financially -- in a space Democrats have a huge advantage (donations from regular people chipping-in a few bucks at a time).
