Our hearts are with everyone in Tumbler Ridge during this heartbreaking time. We are deeply saddened by the tragic events at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School. To students, families, educators, first responders, and the community, we stand with you and hold space for all impacted.

On Friday, we closed our staff conference with creativity. We each painted a background and our name. Then we had the opportunity to paint or write something on each canvas about the artist, their contributions, their qualities. This exercise helped bring our team even closer.

AutismBC is closed today and tomorrow for a long-awaited staff gathering. We will be meeting in person to discuss our plans for the near future, do some learning and bond as a team. It is such a privilege to take the rare opportunity to all be in one room. autismbc.ca/resources
