Good news today, SB1479 passed unanimously out of the House and is heading to the Governor's Office. This was a mirror to my HB2952 and is the result of work to protect Arizonans from deed and title fraud that leads to the theft of personal property and homes by bad actors from out of state and out of the country 🤠

As the guy who ran the bill creating the Arizona Space Commission, Today was a big day not only for America, but Arizona as well! How so? Arizona companies and schools are contributing to the Artemis program right now! Check it: — Honeywell Aerospace, headquartered in Phoenix, crafted display units being used in the cockpit at this very moment — Northrop Grumman chose its Gilbert location for its HALO capsule program. That will be part of the eventual Moon base — ASU will provide spectral data equipment on the new lunar rover — UofA will provide seismometers for Artemis IV to detect moonquakes Make no mistake, Arizona is a big player in the Artemis program. We’re helping run the mission, map the Moon, and enable a long-term human presence there. Our Space Commission will play a role in ensuring that’s the case for years to come!

Katie Hobbs is dragging her feet on securing relief at the pump for Arizonans. Instead, she’s dangling the idea of a gas tax suspension in our faces... treating it as a bargaining chip for budget negotiations (which she has abandoned in one of her typical tantrums). Of course, this is the same gas tax she once voted to INCREASE! As always, it’s politics before people for Katie Hobbs.

ICYMI: Republican legislative leadership has held a clear and defensible line when it comes to the state’s budget — spend only the revenues the state actually has, provide full tax relief by implementing full conformity and don’t force Arizonans to file their taxes twice and pay more in the process.
