We are excited to announce one of the biggest changes we have ever made at @b12. We started working on AI-powered websites in 2015. This was before ChatGPT, before the scaling laws, and even before OpenAI was founded. We spent the last decade building tooling, themes, and a library of components that would help us bring AI to websites. It was, at times, a glimpse into our AI future. Over the last year, coding agents have made tremendous progress, and we have had many discussions about what that means for B12. It became increasingly clear that the future of our space would be driven by agentic coding. Not only is the technology improving exponentially, but the promise of code generation also aligns well with the pain points we hear from users who want to build without constraints. So we made a hard call: we disrupted ourselves and moved beyond a framework we had spent years building. Today, we are announcing B12 3.0, powered by a new coding agent. We have been testing it over the last few weeks, and the results have been stunning. B12 3.0 has enabled users to build websites, apps, and internal tools that are richer in functionality and design. It has also doubled our purchase rate. Huge thanks to the whole team that worked so hard to bring B12 3.0 to market and to our users who have provided tremendous feedback.
