🗣️ Dear Citizens, On December 19, 2025, a promise was made. By March 31, 2026, all capital liabilities from previous years would be cleared, and Nigeria would move to a single, clean budget cycle. No overlaps. No rollovers. Now, look at the date again. March 31, 2026 has passed. So, what happened to that promise? Are all capital liabilities from previous years fully funded and closed? Are we truly operating on a single budget cycle today? If not, what does that mean for transparency, planning, and accountability? And more importantly, what should citizens do when commitments like this are not clearly accounted for? Do we move on, or do we ask questions? #2026BudgetNG #AskQuestions

🗣️ Dear Citizens, In case you missed it…👇🏽 ₦68.32 trillion has been approved as Nigeria’s 2026 budget. From capital projects to debt servicing and the cost of running government, these numbers will shape what gets built, what gets funded, and what we experience daily. Now that the budget is approved, the real work begins. As citizens, this is our role: 📌 Know what has been allocated 📌 Pay attention to what is happening in your state and community 📌 Ask questions when things don’t add up 📌 Track projects and speak up when they are delayed or abandoned Budgets are not just government documents. They are public commitments. And they work better when citizens are paying attention. #AskQuestions #GetInvolved

Dear Champions, the 2026 budget has been passed and now the real work begins. N32.2tn has been allocated for capital projects across Nigeria, but without citizen oversight, many projects may remain on paper, be poorly executed, or abandoned. We must begin to ask questions now.

Less than 5%. That’s what Kano State has spent on girl child education in recent years. We took this conversation to Kano last week, and one thing stood out, when funding isn’t clearly defined, you can’t tell who it’s actually reaching. And for girls, that gap is everything. It means too many are left out before they even get a fair chance. Across the system, the cracks are clear, weak coordination, limited community involvement, and a heavy reliance on support that doesn’t always last. Yes, there are efforts on ground. Learning centres, school buses, etc. But it’s not enough. 📌 Make funding for girls clear and traceable 📌 Ensure resources reach underserved communities 📌 Involve communities in tracking progress 📌 Equip schools with what girls actually need Girl child education doesn’t fail by accident. It reflects how resources are planned, shared, and followed through. And every decision made today shows up in whether a girl is in a classroom tomorrow. #FundHerFuture #GirlChildEducation #MalalaFund

🗣️ Dear Nigerians, 68.32 trillion has been approved as our country’s 2026 budget. Here’s how it’s structured: A significant portion, ₦32.2tn, is allocated to capital expenditure. This is the part meant for roads, schools, hospitals, and other public projects. ₦15.8tn goes to debt servicing. ₦15.4tn covers the cost of running government (recurrent non-debt spending). ₦4.79tn is set aside for statutory transfers. Looking at some of the key sectors: 📌 Security — ₦5.41tn 📌 Infrastructure — ₦3.56tn 📌 Education — ₦3.52tn 📌 Health — ₦2.48tn These numbers reflect how resources are planned across sectors that shape everyday life. Understanding the budget is the first step. Following how it is implemented is what brings real impact. Citizens, our work has begun. Pay attention. Ask questions. Follow the money. #GetInvolved #2026BudgetNG

Gas flaring releases methane, a heat-trapping gas that worsens climate change and damages health. In Nigeria, it’s happening daily in the Niger Delta, affecting air, water, and farmland. Beyond pollution, methane from gas flaring is also wasted energy. Nigeria is burning gas that could generate electricity, while losing trillions in potential revenue. The solution exists: capture the gas, commercialize it, and power homes. The government has promised to end gas flaring by 2030. But the reality on the ground has not changed. We are calling on government and industry leaders to act now. End gas flaring. Protect lives. #ZeroFlare2030

The flames you see are taking more than you can imagine, and the longer they burn, the more they strip from the land and the people who depend on it. Farms that once fed families are failing. Harvests no longer come like they used to. The land is changing in ways people can no longer control. This is what gas flaring looks like up close. Gas flaring doesn’t stop at the borders of a community or wait for permission before it spreads. It moves into the air people breathe, into the water they rely on, into the bodies of people who have no control over it. This should concern all of us. Since multinational companies began operating in these communities, the effects have only spread further. In many parts of the Niger Delta, the air feels heavier than it should and the water they trust is no longer safe. This cannot continue in the same country we all call home. Hear directly from the people here 👇🏽 🔗 youtu.be/bn5jixenPEw?si… #ZeroFlares2030 #MethaneMatters
