Meet #BillsMafia superfan Harold Fuller. In my 8 years covering the Bills, I’ve yet to see a bigger smile in the stands. He’s at almost every training camp practice and it’s impossible to miss him hanging over the tunnel wall to greet all his heroes. Harold loves the Bills. Harold had open heart surgery on Tuesday. His wife, Mercedes, wrote to Reggie Gilliam before the procedure. As docs were checking him out today as he moved from ICU to a regular room, he had a missed call from @_1Sledge, one of Harold’s favorite players. When he got back to the room, he received a FaceTime call from Reggie. The two talked for a long time and Mercedes said you couldn’t get the signature smile off Harold’s face. Sending love to my guy, Harold. A regular contributor in the live chat of “SHOUT!” - where he’s affectionately known as Pops Mafia - and my favorite face in the stands inside Highmark Stadium. A long recovery ahead but grateful for the successful surgery. What an amazing gift #41 gave Harold. Sports are an awesome way to bring people together.
